Hello finos and fellow readers!
I want to take a moment to spotlight someone very special, Brinks Lemmon - my very first friend here in Second Life and, even more importantly, half of the creative force behind the incredible home decor empire known as The Design Firm Collection (TDFC.)
Brinks and I go way back.. like wayyy back. I’m talking 2007.. maybe even 2005? We first met as neighbors in a Hawaiian-themed community, and let’s just say the photos from that era are staying safely tucked away (this was pre-mesh, after all 😅.) But even then, we shared a love for fashion and home decor, doing the absolute most with what was available to us at the time.
Fast forward nearly 20 years (EEK!) and here we are.. still the best of friends and, once again, neighbors! Brinks and I both stumbled upon The City of Portofino around the same time and instantly knew it was the perfect place to call home.
Over the past few years, Brinks has poured vision, creativity, and dedication into her own home decor line - The Design Firm Collection, a modern home furnishings and decor brand that has quickly become a destination for contemporary living in SL. TDFC offers a curated selection of sleek, stylish pieces that combine clean lines, quality craftsmanship, and timeless design.
Even better? Our new home, Portofino, is home to a satellite location for TDFC, giving other residents and visitors alike a place to discover inspiration and bring modern elegance into their own spaces!
